Higher Frequency Sources and Antennas
Goals
We are studying how gain can be used to overcome losses in metals at optical frequencies. We are studying how metamaterial ideas can lead to electrically small optical resonators that can be coupled with gain media to achieve highly-subwavelength sized lasers.
