Thuy Pham received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from PTIT, Vietnam, in 2004 and the M.S. degree in electrical computer engineering from University of Arizona, Arizona, USA, in 2011. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and information engineering at University of Sydney, NSW, Australia.

From 2010 to 2012, she was a Research Assistant with the Neuroscience Department, University of Arizona, USA. Her research interest includes building hybrid systems with both artificial components and real biological components and real time biological signal processing algorithms. Since 2013, she has been working in the Computer Engineering Laboratory, University of Sydney, Australia.

Ms Pham has been a sponsored member of Science Program for Excellence in Science (AAAS-American Association for the Advancement of Science) since 2011. Ms. Pham's awards and honors include The UA Meritorious Awards (2010-2012), the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships (Australian Prime Minister Award 2013-2017) and Norman I. Price Scholarship.
