Nov 26: Lab Practical 2 will be graded using the following rubric:

10 Points: Complete design with correct implementation for all aspects.
9 Points: Partially complete design missing 1 of the following requirements:
8 Points: Partially complete design missing 2 of the following requirements:
7 Points: Partially complete design missing 3 of the following requirements:
-Measuring distance between the initial mouse location and the final guess.
-Detecting not far enough condition.
-Detecting slow condition.
-Detecting far condition.
6 Points: Any design that can display a message other than the Welcome message.
5 Points: Any design that can display the Welcome message.

Nov 02: Code for the LEDSequencer HLSM and Testbench: LEDSequencer.v, Testbench.v

Oct 29: Scores for Lab Practical 1 have been posted. The Lab Practical was graded out of 10 points using the following rubric. An adjustment of 1.5 points was added to everyone's score.

10 Points: Completed design working on FPGA board
9 Points: Completed design simulated using testbench.
8 Points: Correct implementation of FSM with either: 1) complete top module and UCF file but with some errors, or 2) complete testbench with component instantiation, clock procedure, and vector procedures, but with some errors
7 Points: Correct implementation of FSM with either: 1) incomplete top module or incomplete UCF file, or 2) incomplete testbench missing either the component instantiation, clock procedure, or vector procedures.
6 Points: Correct FSM without top module or testbench needed to implement or simulate design.
5 Points: Complete implementation of an FSM that is syntactically correct but does not match the FSM requirements.
4 Points: Mostly complete FSM missing one of the following errors: 1) syntax errors, 2) state register, 3) combination logic errors
3 Points: Mostly complete FSM missing two of the following errors: 1) syntax errors, 2) state register, 3) combination logic errors
2 Points: Mostly complete FSM missing three or more of the following errors: 1) syntax errors, 2) state register, 3) combination logic errors

Oct 02: Take home problem for Exam 2 PDF. This problem should be considered a test question. DO NOT discuss the problem with ANYONE. You must complete this problem entirely on your own. The take home problem is due at the beginning of lecture (before 12:05) on Friday, October 5. ABSOLUTELY not late submission will be allowed. You may turn in the take home early to the instructor (must be done in person).
