Where the potential energy went...

The potential energy of the rock is transferred to you! The rock pushes down on the end of the teeter totter and you rise up in the air. If the rock is big enough (or you're small enough), you might even fly up into the air. Then you would be the one with both kinetic and potential energy.

There are many other types of potential energy besides just a rock sitting on top of a cliff. Can you think of any?
