Which Transfers More Heat???

Since a large steak covers more space on the plate, there is more space for the heat to be transferred from the plate to the steak, and vice versa. A small steak doesn’t cover as big a surface on the plate, and therefore, less heat will be transferred. Since the larger steak allows more heat transfer, it will be able to cause a greater change in the final temperature than the small steak.
